EU-IPFF welcomes French initiative to improve access to medicines

The time to market for new drugs is too long. A group of health professionals, patients and pharmaceutical companies was created in France in June 2019. They launched a warning, which was signed by more than 100 people and which was published on 9 October on the French newspaper L'Opinion’s website.

This group suggests several solutions to improve French patients’ access to therapeutic innovations to make the French health care system equal to main European countries.
This call is in line with EU-IPFF concerns regarding faster access to innovative medicines, especially for medicines that may be used to treat IPF in near future.
